W.E. Roberts was founded in 1958 by William Edward Roberts and his son Alan.  Over forty years later, with a group turnover of around £10 million per annum, operating from three production sites and is now one of the largest independent corrugated case manufacturers in the UK.   In 2002, Alan Roberts retired as Group Managing Director to be replaced by his two sons, Shaun and Paul.   Paul now runs W.E. Roberts (Corrugated) Ltd and Shaun runs W.E. Roberts (Packing Supplies) Ltd.

The continued success of the group can be attributed to its commitment to quality, its inherent service values and a willingness to invest in new technology. This, combined with a progressive technological approach, places it at the forefront of this competitive industry.

This progressive attitude is best illustrated by the continuing upgrade of the group's Langston 1600 Corrugator, which delivers a competitiveness and flexibility demonstrated by few in the current market place.

The main core of the group's business is the manufacture of corrugated cases, sheet board, point of sale cases and packaging supplies.
